Beijing Pudi Hotel, 8 October 2018

This one was a bit of a conundrum.  The first impression is of a very nice, very varied buffet. There is a Chinese section, as well as a large Western selection. Different kinds of bread, pastries, lots of vegetables, a few cold cuts and some fruit. Also a hot dishes selection. In addition, cereal, jams and honey, teas (bags) and coffee. On the negative side, no cheese at all, and the bacon is of the unappetising British variety (fatty and not crisp).  I was also less than impressed with today’s scrambled eggs, which were overdone.  So, I am not quite sure what to do. Initially, I was going to award quite a high mark. However, after due consideration, I think it should be more of an average. Quantity is not always quality. 5.5/10.
